The House of Representatives (HOR) was established by GodTischler during his tenure as MGEN under PlatinumGideon. With the approval and support of PlatinumGideon, the concept of the House became a functioning reality. The initial iteration of the House was minimal in scope, governed by only a few fundamental rules. These included the Senate retaining veto power over House decisions, the Speaker of the House (SOTH) holding authority to determine who may propose legislation, and the SOTH also being responsible for shaping the first version of the House.

The first official Speaker elections were won by StopSxmpin, who assumed the role of Speaker. During his leadership, the House of Representatives had limited influence and legislative activity. An attempt was made to establish a formal Constitution for the House, but this proposal was ultimately denied by HQ. StopSxmpin’s tenure as Speaker was short-lived; he was impeached by the House on grounds of restricting freedom of speech and failing to provide active leadership.

Creation of the Deputy Speaker Role

As the House was about to die, Zamalamamoemoe123 took the initiative to start hosting emergency meetings to start replacing the Speaker. He was soon after chosen by PlatinumGideon to become the first Deputy Speaker the House has seen. The role Deputy Speaker was created as an emergency role, in case the Speaker role became vacant to host re-elections within the House for the SOTH position. Zama ran the House Emergency elections, and ultimately won the elections himself.

Second Speaker of The House

Zama afterwards made many reforms together with the House. Everyone had gained the right of bill creation, and freedom of speech. The HiCOM Academy (HA) was created under his initiative with support of the House, and many other changes were made. After a month of his reign, he was obligated to host Representative re-elections, which were smooth and didn't cause any major issues. Many representatives got re-elected, such as OurCommandant and SouthernVoice, but we also gained new faces, such as Cardshark. Under the next term of the new Representatives, a bill was passed to create something called the Presidium, consisting of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and 2 Secretaries.

Creation of the Presidium

The Secretaries were responsible for administration, the Deputy Speaker being the executive officer of the House, and the Speaker still being the commanding officer within the House, but also acting as a liason between the House and HQ. Many don't see, but the Speaker's duties stretched further than just hosting General meetings. The Speaker was responsible for defending House legislation, fighting against the Senate (HQ) to protect the community. Many fights occured, and coalitions were required to be formed. Together with Jatsby, Zama was able to defend the House at all costs.

The first elected Deputy Speaker, was Emikkr, a very active and motivated guy. A friend to all who were interested in the House. The first Secretary of the House, was Notorious, a very professional person. He was always motivated to give the House more power, and even more freedom of speech.

Veto Issues

The longer the House stayed alive, the more people realised the House was powerless. As the Senate retains their veto powers, the House was, to say the least, useless, and just a form to propose suggestions
